The artist

I graduated from Colby College in 2026 with a minor in Art. I now paint from Massachusetts. My favorite part of painting is how sensitive I am to beautiful color and light and composition after spending a night in the studio.

All of my paintings are composed of a history of movements. I layer color environments and patterns and then dig through them to unearth their history. My process is spontaneous and intuitive: I discover an idea through excavation and react to it with compositional additions. I am often working on many paintings at once. I also love to paint portraits and landscapes. I am inspired by the Fauvists, the Vienna Secession, Edvard Munch, Hilma af Klint and Kerstin Brätsch.
