original oil paintings on wooden board

I graduated from Colby College in 2026 with a minor in Art. I now paint between south shore Massachusetts and the south bay. My favorite part of painting is how sensitive my eyes become to the light, color and composition of the world around me after spending an afternoon in the studio.
The majority of my paintings are abstract. I am often working on multiple at once: adding layers of color and texture on one as I wait for the others to dry. I enjoy carving through layers of paint to unearth the history of ideas and compositions that lies beneath. My process is spontaneous and intuitive. I often work with watercolors, oil pastels and incorporate textures of whatever I find in my studio space. I also enjoy painting portraits of loved ones and landscapes with personal significance. My creative practice bleeds into all aspects of my life. I am inspired by the Fauvists, artists of the Viennese Secession, Edvard Munch, Hilma af Klint and Kerstin Brätsch.
Inquiries, commission requests or any connections welcome. All paintings are available for purchase unless otherwise marked.
